Rick Jow Orthodontics

History

Dr. Jow graduated with highest honors from the University of California, Davis in 1980 and was elected to the honor societies of Phi Beta Kappa and Phi Kappa Phi. He graduated with honors from Dental School in 1984 from the University of California, San Francisco and was elected to the dental honor society of Omicron Kappa Upsilon. During his dental training, Dr. Jow was involved in teaching and research and received awards for his outstanding performance and abilities. Dr. Jow is a Clinical Professor at the U.C.S.F. School of Dentistry and has been teaching clinical orthodontics and orthodontic diagnosis and treatment planning since 1989. He received recognition for Excellence in Instruction in 1994. In addition, Dr. Jow has passed the written examination of the American Board of Orthodontics.

We offer traditional braces with the colored ties as well as the latest orthodontic appliances such as concealed In-Ovation L lingual braces on the back of the teeth, self ligating In-Ovation R metal braces and In-Ovation C tooth colored braces as well as Invisalign and other removable appliances.
