History

The Richmond Torah Center-Chabad was founded by Rabbi Ahron Hecht as a warm,comfortable place where Jews of all backgrounds could study, pray or just discover the joys of being Jewish. Over the years, more and more people have experienced the unique wisdom of the Torah through the many lectures our center offers. We hope that our center will soon become your home as well. Join us for services during the week or on Shabbat. Learn about our remarkable heritage at one of our many classes. Discover the delights of a Chassidic simcha or farbrengen. Fancisco and are an ideal location for a serene and peaceful Shabbat atmosphere away from the bustle of the Downtown area. In addition we are in close walking distance to the beautiful Golden Gate Park and the Presidio. We are also in walking distance to Ocean Beach and China Beach, the cliff house and other scenic areas and views. The Golden Gate bridge is in walking distance too.
