Richard Nixon Presidential Library and Museum celebrates the life and controversial legacy of the 37th President of the United States. The Yorba Linda venue is filled with fascinating Nixon-related artifacts, documents, and memorabilia –- including materials from the infamous Watergate scandal. It's a great spot for history buffs or anyone remotely curious about Nixon's presidency.
Best and worst time to go to Richard Nixon Presidential Library and Museum
Your best bet is to go on weekdays between September and October, when the weather is pleasant and the grounds aren't too overrun by school field trips. Avoid August, as excessive heat may force some popular exhibits to close.

The house that Nixon was born in is located on the property, on the same spot where it was built by his father. The gravesites of Nixon and First Lady Pat Nixon are a few steps from the house. The helicopter that lifted Nixon from The White House the day he resigned is also on permanent display.
