Established in 1995 by the Matsukuma Family, Rice Things has been a staple in Redondo Beach, California, for over two decades, offering authentic Japanese cuisine to its patrons. In December 2019, the Matsukuma Family transitioned ownership to Lance Matsumoto, who rebranded the establishment as South Bay Rice Things.
