It was the late sixties when Howard Morrissey realized that something was missing from Southern California. People here are often on the move and what better way to aid in the transition than to offer affordable storage units. Rent A Garage became California's first low cost self storage company and has remained the cheapest and best deal ever since. Mr. Morrissey hand-built all of the units and has kept the business in the family to this day. Each unit is as clean, safe, and sturdy as the day we first opened back in 1969, and still is the low price per square foot leader anywhere!
