Mary Butler Elementary School is a visual and performing arts magnet school located in Long Beach, Calif. The school s craft curriculum includes drawing, painting and sculpture. It also offers special classes in music, art, dance, theater and computer technology. Mary Butler Elementary School s academic curriculum includes various subjects, such as English, mathematics, science and social science. The school serves more than 1,000 students in kindergarten through grade eight. The school has a parent center that hosts parent-teacher conferences and site council meetings. In addition, it provides Title I and special education programs. Mary Butler Elementary School is a part of the Long Beach Unified School District.

I came for a play performance. It is the smallest auditorium I have ever seen. The seats were actually comfortable which was nice. The school is gated. But, there are tons of homeless and shady...

Both of my children attended Renaissance HS and loved it! I'm grateful for the loving staff and the opportunities they have for the students. It's a Public Arts school... I feel beyond fortunate...
