History

Aesthetic medicine fell into her lap after a negative experience with a Fresno plastic surgeon. That was 2007. Her 25th year medical school reunion was coming up in 6 months. Barely discussing her needs, the plastic surgeon recommended surgical facelift in less than 10 minutes. She was appalled. She knew she needed something, but face lift? She felt embarrassed that the plastic surgeon thought she looked terribly bad at 51 to recommend a face lift. She thought face lift was reserved for the very old, like 70 years old. This experience propelled her to learn cosmetic surgery, hopping from one hands-on training to another, from within the United States and other countries. Looking back, her negative experience with the plastic surgeon was a wonderful blessing in disguise. As a result, she found her real calling.
