History

Reina Remy, LCSW has been providing therapy services for individuals and families since 2002. She works in a small group practice with other Therapists, Psychologists, Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW), and Marriage and Family Therapists (MFT). The focus of the practice is on individual difficulties coping for adults, children, and adolescents, families struggles, military family issues, parenting issues, child therapy, play therapy/art therapy, somatic healing, trauma, grief, mood disorders including depression and anxiety, adjusting to stress in life, and stress management. She accepts most insurances including Tricare/Triwest, Cigna, Blue Cross, Aetna, MHN, and others.

Specialties

I provide individual, family, and play/art therapy for children, adolescents, and adults. I specialize in providing healing from truama/abuse including post-traumatic stress disorder, mood disorders such as depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder, grief and loss issues, anger management, parenting difficulties, adjustment to divorce, ADHD, sexual orientation issues, adoption issues, social skills, oppositional and defiant behaviors, Asperger's disorder, crisis intervention, and general adjustment to life stressors. I have experience working in outpatient and residential treatment programs, helping parents navigate the school systems to get their children's needs met with teachers or through IEP meetings, and connecting families with other needed community resources.
