Recreation and Park Services Department

The City of Norwalk Recreation and Park Services Department operates and maintains natural areas, facilities, parks and recreational centers. The facilities managed and operated by the department include community centers, arts and sports complex, cultural arts center, art gallery, children's play areas and a musical rehearsal facility. Its sports center offers a wide variety of sports and fitness programs and amenities including gymnasium, boxing room, racquetball courts, and an exercise room with a variety of fitness equipment. The department also organizes diversified programs and recreational activities, such as festivals, community special events, concerts, volleyball and tennis tournaments and outdoor events. It organizes athletic leagues for youths and adults and offers instructional classes, programs and workshops. The department has its administrative office located in Norwalk, Calif.
