History

Niusha has been offering birthing classes for over a year and dancing in troupes and solo belly dance performances for over a decade. Niusha has been a substitute teacher at the belly dance studio Shimmy Dreams which was previously in the Lafayette location. With the departure of the instructor to relocate, she offered the opportunity to begin teaching in her place and Niusha agreed to continue to spread the love of dance.

Realize Your Best offers belly dance classes with Niusha. Classes for all levels, age and body type. Come learn basic moves or improve your technique. No matter what your level of experience, belly dance is a great way to get exercise, maintain flexibility and build self confidence. It's also a great way to build community with other dancers. Troupe performances and other events such as Ladies' nights out and birthday parties. Belly dancing has many cultural roots as well as has many benefits for pre and post natal mothers. Niusha offers birthing classes and doula services in addition to teaching an performing belly dance.
