Dr. Michael F. Stringfellow, Ph.D., P.E., joined PowerCET Corporation as Chief Scientist in July 1994. He brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience in the areas of lightning, lightning protection, general power quality, failure analysis and forensic investigations. Dr. Stringfellow manages the PowerCET facility in Scottsdale, Arizona. PowerCET Canada was established effective January 1, 1997 in partnership with Better Technologies Corporation ( BTC ) of Ottawa, Canada. PowerCET Canada will be operated as a division of BTC. The professional staff of the Canadian operation will service the Canadian market and supplement PowerCET ( USA ) in domestic and international operations. Services include facility audits and investigations directed at power quality and electromagnetic interference problems. Additional services include lightning risk analysis, facility hardening against the effects of lightning, and facility-wide evaluation of transient protection systems.
