David Law, MD, is board certified in internal medicine and is a hospitalist. Dr. Law earned his medical degree from UC Davis School of Medicine. He completed his internship at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. Dr. Law chose to be a hospitalist because he enjoys the fast pace of the hospital setting, as well as the profound difference he can make in treating very ill patients. Daphne Hayes, MD, practices obstetrics and gynecology. Dr. Hayes earned her medical degree from USC Keck School of Medicine. She completed her internship and residency at Kaiser Permanente Oakland Medical Center. Dr. Hayes became a doctor because she loves interacting with people, especially first-time mothers. Patients say they like Dr. Hayes's sense of humor, compassion and easy-going manner, which puts them at ease. They also say they appreciate her good listening skills and patience in addre to jazz music. During football season, she proudly roots for USC's Trojans. Most of all, she is a dedicated aunt to her niece and nephew. In addition to English, Dr. Hayes speaks fluent Spanish.

Joanna Tan, MD, is board certified in internal medicine. Dr. Tan earned her medical degree from the University of Calgary, Faculty of Medicine in Canada. She completed her internship at the Cleveland Clinic and her residency at St. Mary Medical Center in Long Beach. Dr. Tan became a physician because she enjoys helping people. Her patients describe her as compassionate and friendly, and say that she has a great sense of humor. Dr. Tan believes strongly in patient education and empowers her patients to take an active role in their healthcare decision-making. As a physician, she is most proud of being chosen as the Chief Resident at St. Mary Medical Center in Long Beach, during her residency. In her spare time, she enjoys performance arts, learning about different cultures, and spending time with her family. In addition to English, Dr. Tan is fluent in Malay.
