The Randsburg General Store, a landmark of the historic mining town of Randsburg since the 1930s, offers a unique blend of dining and shopping experiences. Known for its long counter, antique back bars, and vintage malt machines, the store serves breakfast and lunch while showcasing memorabilia, maps, and locally published histories of the area.
In addition to its sit-down restaurant, the store features a soda fountain built in 1904, serving classic ice cream sodas and oversized banana splits. Customers can also find a wide range of groceries, dry goods, and collectibles, making it a nostalgic stop for visitors exploring the living ghost town just off Highway 395.
