Gladys 'Sandy' Ramos, MD is a highly experienced perinatologist and professor specializing in high-risk pregnancies and maternal-fetal medicine. With expertise in managing complex health and fetal issues, Dr. Ramos is dedicated to ensuring safe deliveries and optimal health for mothers, particularly those with diabetes. As the director of the Diabetes and Pregnancy Program and program director of the Maternal-Fetal Medicine Program at UC San Diego School of Medicine, she is actively involved in educating medical students, residents, and fellows. Dr. Ramos has published extensively in prestigious medical journals and is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the Society of Maternal-Fetal Medicine.

With a medical degree from UC Irvine and fellowship training at UC San Diego School of Medicine, Dr. Ramos brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her practice. She is fluent in Spanish and is a member of the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine. Outside of her work, Dr. Ramos enjoys traveling with her husband.
