Railroad Book Depot

Railroad Book Depot, Pittsburg's only independent bookstore, is owned and operated by the Pittsburg Arts and Community Foundation, in support of its mission to promote literacy and visual and performing arts. Open since November 2010, Railroad Book Depot offers a wide variety of free, new, and used books, sports apparel, gift products, items of local interest, and more. We also offer free wi-fi and and seating for readers. All profits from bookstore sales are directed back into the community to support literacy programs.  Railroad Book Depot also hosts events and book clubs. See the "Clubs & Events" tab for a list of current clubs and upcoming events (such as poetry readings, book signings, movie nights, and events for kids and adults). We also post all events and pictures on our Facebook page. Tri Delta Bus Passes and tickets to some local events can be purchased at the front desk, and there is a City Water Bill Payment Kiosk open seven days a week for your convenience.
