History

Dr. Ehmer is excited to share the pearls of her personal health journey. After the birth of her second child, she developed recurring, intense fatigue and flu-like inflammation. Her children also developed symptoms of newly recognized syndromes. In 2014, a pursuit for answers led her to the Institute for Functional Medicine. During the next three years, she diligently completed each offered course.

The vision of Radiant Life Medicine is to help women and their families achieve optimal health and wellness. We will evaluate several key pillars of health including: energy production, digestion, mindset, detoxification, stress, hormones, spirituality and your environment. The Functional Medicine model is a patient-centered and science-based approach that empowers patients and practitioners to work together to address the underlying and often multifactorial cause of disease. It requires a detailed understanding of each patient's biochemical, genetic and environmental individuality. Treatments may include prescribed combinations of medications, botanicals, supplements, therapeutic diets, detoxification programs, or stress-management techniques.
