Quintessa Winery, nestled in the heart of Rutherford, spans 280 acres of diverse geology and microclimates, with 160 acres dedicated to the cultivation of premium varietals including Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc. Founded by Agustin and Valeria Huneeus, the estate is committed to organic and Biodynamic farming practices, allowing each of its 26 vineyard blocks to express the unique nuances of the land.

The winemaking process at Quintessa emphasizes individual vineyard plots, with grapes harvested at dawn and vinified in oak, stainless steel, or concrete tanks. After fermentation, each wine is aged separately for up to two years in French oak, culminating in a harmonious blend that epitomizes the beauty of the estate and the commitment to quality.
