PROXY is an innovative open space concept located in the heart of Hayes Valley, San Francisco, designed to foster community engagement and cultural exchange. Created by ENVELOPE Architecture Design, the project utilizes two City of San Francisco-owned vacant lots as a vibrant hub for small vendors and public events.
Through a variety of free programming, including biannual film festivals and the Hayes Valley Carnival, PROXY aims to bring people together and enhance the local atmosphere. Supported by the nonprofit organization HERE FOR NOW, PROXY continues to enrich the community by providing diverse experiences that are accessible to all.
