Propinquities

History

Propinquities was originally created by Tim as a silk flower and gift store in Newhall. Dana and Ron purchased it from him in 1991, and ran it in it's original location until the Northridge earthquake forced a move across the parking lot to what is now The Comic Book store. After several years there, we moved the store up the street to the Wayman center, near the old Danny's deli. After a number of years there, we relocated into Town Center Drive, across the street from the Spectrum club. After 7 years there, there was an opportunity to move back to Newhall into what was The Cottage location, next to the Egg Plantation, and we decided to go back to next door to our original location. We have been thrilled to be back, and when Fresh decided to relocate to Main Street, we expanded into their location, which was, by the way, our original location from 20 years ago! We just finished the expansion over Memorial day, 2011, and are happy to offer twice the space for your shopping experience.
