Preserve Calavera

Preserve Calavera is a grassroots, tax-exempt organization dedicated to the protection, enhancement, and restoration of natural resources in coastal north San Diego County. Founded in 2001, the group initially focused on the Calavera open space and has since expanded its mission to encompass the entire watershed and wildlife movement corridors of the region.

With a board comprised of local residents, Preserve Calavera collaborates with other environmental organizations to address habitat preservation and watershed protection.
