History

I have over 20 years of experience caring for all sorts of furry, feathered, and scaled pets, and 10 years of experience pet sitting. After a career change, I realized that animals are my passion, and founded Prancing Paws in Western Massachusetts. In 2014, moved the business to Sacramento, CA.

Specialties

Prancing Paws is a force-free, professional dog training, pet sitting and dog walking service for Sacramento and the surrounding communities. We take care of dogs, cats, rodents, fish, amphibians/reptiles (yes, even snakes!), and birds. We offer constant communication about our care while you are away from your pet, pet transportation, care for special needs animals, and even overnight stays under special circumstances. We specialize in active/high energy pets and ensuring they receive as much healthy exercise and TLC as possible!
