History

Powered Sugar is owned and operated by Rachel and Jariza - two super artistic, highly creative, strongly innovative, severely detail-oriented, long-haired ladies who share a passion for baked goods and nutrition and a drive to do something other than process documents (although that's alright, too). What started off as delivering handmade sugary creations to colleagues under the guise of the Cake Pop Fairies bloomed into an idea to make their magic into a profession.

The Powered Sugar Bake Shoppe is an online bakery serving and delivering to the San Francisco Bay Area, based in San Ramon, California. We make custom cake pops and truffles, cupcakes, cookies, croissant-donuts (Cronuts, but we call ours Doughssants), bread pudding, homemade dog treats, custom cakes, various dessert pops, and other baked goods for your birthday party, company party, baby shower, casual get-together, and any other event. We love to bake, but we're also fairly health-conscious. That's why our treats contain natural and organic ingredients and we try to use ingredients that are as minimally-processed as possible. We want you to have your cake and eat it too - without trying to give you diabetes or contribute to the obesity epidemic! We cater to meet your dietary needs and restrictions. Most of our items offer gluten-free, dairy-free, nut-free, vegan, and even sugar-free options. We also happily take custom orders for birthday parties, holidays, baby showers, or any other event! Your extremely talented Bake-Up Artist combines lifelong artistic talent with baking and creates all custom treats entirely by hand from fondant or gum paste - NO stencils or store-bought toppers! (We also do hand-drawn/hand-painted designs.)
