Warm Water Cove, located on the Central Waterfront of San Francisco, is a hidden gem nestled between China Basin and Candlestick Point. Once known as Tire Beach for its collection of discarded tires, this park is now part of the Blue Greenway initiative, aimed at connecting 13 miles of the city's southeast waterfront with parks and open spaces.
This unique park features an eclectic mix of picnic tables and chairs, offering visitors a tranquil spot to relax and enjoy views of the bay. With a history that includes its transformation from a toxic golf course, Warm Water Cove is a testament to the positive changes being made to enhance San Francisco's public spaces.
