Brian Fox formed Portola Pianoworks with the goal of providing concert-level piano service throughout Northern California. Brian is a member of the Piano Technicians Guild, where he serves as Vice President of the Santa Clara Valley Chapter, and has training from the C.Bechstein Technicians Academy in Seifhennersdorf, Germany.
Specialties
Portola Pianoworks provides piano tuning, repair, and sales for residential and institutional clients in Northern California. Retail clients include Steinway Piano Gallery San Francisco and Silicon Valley Piano in San Jose.

Brian was awesome. He came in a few minutes early, was friendly, and got working on our piano right away. The sound/pitch is much better (like night and day). Highly recommend.

Great communication and service. Piano sounds like at the Symphony Hall. Very punctual, pleasant and professional. We need more businesses like that :)
