History
It all started when she went back to Ohio one summer when she was 15. In summer school there, they offered cosmetology. She started, but Ohio is not California where she grew up....she went home, did other things (banking, waitresses, etc.) Being a client, and having some knowledge of doing hair made her very observant to the inadequacies (feeling rushed, ignored, and not really getting what she wanted through communication). She vowed to give an experience where none of this would occur, got licensed, and has been creating works of art since then...

Portia did a great job on my kid's hair. She loves it! She took her time and didn't rush the job and has decades of experience in hair, coloring, etc. Would definitely recommend her as a hair...

I was lucky enough to get a deal on Groupon with Portia. I don't believe she runs those anymore. I wasn't sure what to expect. I was a little nervous. I've had some hair disasters in the past....
