Does your heart skip a beat when you see a piano? Did you used to play, and miss it? Would you like to start a child's lifelong love of music? It's not too late! Some of my happiest students are adults. Some start in retirement. Others start young, and get a wonderful ease early on. Get your physical, emotional, intellectual workout all at once, while feeding your soul.

Specialties

As a member of the Music Teachers Association of California, I can enroll students in the Certificate of Merit program, and in many other events and programs as well. Adult students occasionally get together to play for each other, support each other's growth, and form friendships. I've taught and performed for over 30 years. My training is in classical music, but I also teach jazz and pop music. Students learn injury-preventing technique, practice tips and a wide variety of music . . . all with empathy, humor and fun.
