Plumas Bank
In 1980, a group of small business owners opened Plumas Bank. The bank provides solutions to personal and business financial needs. Plumas Bank s mission is to provide superior quality banking and investment services to meet the financial needs of families and businesses in northeastern California. In 1981, Plumas Bank opened a second office in downtown Portola, Calif. By 1985, the bank constructed a branch in Greenville, Calif., and acquired a Wells Fargo branch in Quincy, Calif. With the acquisition of two Bank of America branches in Chester and Fall River Mills, Calif., in 1998, the bank s assets grew to over $200 million. Findley & Associates, a nationally renowned consulting firm, has named Plumas Bank as a premier performing bank every year since 1993. Plumas Bank is independently owned and locally managed. The bank maintains a branch in Quincy, Calif.
