History

PlumpJack is a hospitality management company that believes in creating individual experiences for our guests and our employees. Our portfolio includes award-winning wineries, acclaimed restaurants, catering, a nightclub, retail stores, and luxury resorts. PlumpJack was founded in 1992 by California Leiutenant Governor Gavin Newsom, with the inaugural business, PlumpJack Wine & Spirits, in the Marina District of San Francisco. Combining his passion for wine and his driving entrepreneurial spirit, he quickly pursued the development of unique properties, turning that into a lifestyle company under the PlumpJack Management Group.
