Plaskon Nature Trail runs a short leisurely distance alongside the South Fork of San Pedro Creek. This trail is great for easy plant identification and experiencing nature up close in a riparian environment. The trail contains two bridges overlooking the San Pedro Creek which flows year-round.

Valley View Trail

It winds through a small eucalyptus forest, then changes to open grassland. Near the top the trail changes again to coastal chaparral. Throughout your hike you will have excellent views of Montara Mountain, the Middle Fork of San Pedro Creek valley and the coast.

Hazelnut Trail

Perhaps the best trail for viewing the optimal amount of native plants, the Hazelnut Trail takes you through dense vegetation to a height of about 800 feet before descending along a series of switchbacks to the valley of the Middle Fork.
