The Pismo Preserve was purchased by The Land Conservancy of San Luis Obispo County in 2014.

Specialties

The Pismo Preserve is a 900 acre open space preserve with 11 miles of trails built by The Land Conservancy of San Luis Obispo County and numerous volunteers. The Preserve is currently accessible via docent-guided hikes. The project will be complete and fully open to the public by the end of 2018.

A really fun area to hike in. The trails are not too difficult and there is plenty of parking (free parking, even though there are payment meters)
