History

Dr. Caitlin Ferriter is a licensed clinical psychologist in the state of California. She received her B.A. in psychology from Harvard University in 2004 and her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in 2011. Dr. Ferriter completed her pre-doctoral internship at the VA San Diego/UCSD Psychology Internship Training Program and remained at the VA for her postdoctoral training in mood and suicidality. She worked as a staff psychologist at the VA San Diego from 2012-2015 where she served as the team leader of an interdisciplinary outpatient mental health team and one of two full-time psychologists on the Dialectical Behavior Therapy team. Dr. Ferriter was also highly involved in teaching and training and continues to supervise unlicensed psychologists.
