History

In 2011, I switched my legal practice from prosecution to criminal defense. While prosecuting for the City of San Diego, I never lost a DUI trial, including low BAC and marijuana DUI trials. Since moving to the defense, I have represented hundreds of DUI defendants- from licensed professionals to blue collar workers. Generally, DUIs are not a crime of intent- very rarely does a person leave their house intent on committing a DUI. It was analogous to lifeguarding- helping someone that made a mistake, and is now in over their head.
