Built in 1988 by a Mr. Murphy Vacant in the 1920s and 1930s. Hil Probert, who had been scouting a gas station location, brought it in 1937 and built an adjacent car showroom in 1945. The house and assorted buildings were converted into the Lark Creek Inn and Shops by Skip Sommers in the 1970s.
