Formed in 1976, Performance Guitar has been making hand built custom guitars and basses. Based in Los Angeles, Calif., it provides custom bodies, necks, pickups and electronics. Some of the guitar models it offers include Corsair 24, The Flame, Chip, Snake Skin, The Bomber, The Skull,Orion, Original 7 Strings Guitar and Sammy Lap steel guitar. Its roster of clients includes some of the biggest names in the music industry, such as Frank Zappa, Dweezil Zappa, Warren DeMartini, Steve Vai and Joe Walsh.
