History
I picked up a camera when film was our only option and developing my own black and whites had me hooked. When I realized the stories that were taking place in our lives were being told through the photos, I understood my why behind the camera. As my own style has changed since I picked up a camera I have also seen many trends come and go forcing photos to become dated. For this reason, my voice has also evolved. My priority when documenting any moment is to ensure those photos can be handed to a loved one 20, 30, 40 years from now and still have a timeless and classic look. They will want to frame and place them in their own home celebrating the day their family legacy began. (Or, the day their own legacy began!) I document for the generations ahead so the stories of today can continue to have a voice in the years to come.
