History
The concept for Peoples Barber & Shop started 3 years prior to our opening and 2000 miles away. We began with an idea of bringing back quality grooming services for men at affordable prices. While in Chicago, we were reminded of a time when a barber shop was about community. A place where men could gather and relax; all while getting a shave and a haircut. A place for the People. We started collecting antique, porcelain-based barber chairs, furniture and items reminiscent of an earlier era. We brought our idea (and our chairs) west to our current home in the heart of San Francisco.
Specialties
Specializing in choice haircuts, straight razor shaves and hot towel treatments. We take appointments and walk-ins. Our traditional style shop is reminiscent of a time when service was paramount and where quality is standard. At Peoples Barber, we feel you deserve a first-class grooming experience. Come visit us. I'm just confused as to what qualifies as a "trim?" I ask for a trim and they charge me for a full haircut. I didn't ask for a full haircut. It's very deceiving and misleading.
