People in Plazas is a non-profit music presentation organization in San Francisco that has been hosting the free summer music festival, PiP, since 1973. They produce over 130 concerts each year, featuring local professional musicians who showcase original compositions and perform in various genres, creating a vibrant and enjoyable atmosphere for residents, office workers, and tourists.
With a mission to activate and revitalize public and private outdoor spaces, People in Plazas collaborates with venue owners to bring live music events to otherwise underutilized areas, encouraging diverse audiences to gather, enjoy local food, and experience the vibrant music scene of Downtown San Francisco. Great event! attended a western swing concert with the saddle cats, they were fabulous! Chill crowd, many bring lunch, as I did, and the Hilton provides cushions so you can sit on their granite...
