Penngrove Social Firemen, founded in 1946 by Penngrove Fire Department volunteers, has evolved into a vibrant organization with nearly 150 members from diverse professional backgrounds including carpenters, artists, attorneys, and more. Although the Social Firemen's ties to the fire department have loosened over the years, their core mission remains steadfast - to provide unwavering support to the community.

Through a variety of events like Italian Night, Corn Beef and Cabbage Feed, and the Penngrove Parade, the Social Firemen actively engage with the community, fostering a strong sense of camaraderie.
