Peninsula Library System

The NorthNet Library System comprises 41 member libraries across Northern California, extending from north of San Francisco to the Oregon border. In response to the region's increasing challenges from wildfires, earthquakes, and other natural disasters, NorthNet has initiated the Recovering Together project to bolster community engagement and resource sharing among libraries.

This collaborative effort seeks to document experiences and best practices from library staff, volunteers, and community partners, fostering a stronger network of support during recovery efforts. The project is backed by the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services under the Library Services and Technology Act, highlighting the critical role libraries play in strengthening communities in times of crisis.
