About The Biblical Counseling Foundation ( BCF ) is organized to train and equip members of the body of Christ to face the challenge of living in a fallen world and to prepare them to disciple / counsel others using the Bible as their only authoritative source. As the Lord continues to bless and expand the ministry, there are many needs that continue to arise.Some funds we have for donations include: Ongoing Ministry Fund, which goes towards staff salaries, office equipment, office space, and other administrative and operating expenses. The International Fund, which goes towards financial assistance to enable needy Non-US students to attend BCF-conducted courses. Brief History Established in 1974, BCF is a non-profit ministry founded as a labor of love. From the very beginning, the BCF founders recognized that they were called to be a training resource to churches but not to establish BCF branches or offices that compete with local church ministries.
