ParentCare Family Recovery Center

Established in 1993, the ParentCare Family Recovery Center is a nonprofit organization that offers various programs and services related to family violence and substance and child abuse. It provides substance abuse recovery services to pregnant and parenting women, newborn infants and young children in East San Diego County, Calif. The center offers outpatient, alcohol and drug treatment, case and anger management, psychiatric assessment, child care, and group, family and individual counseling services. The ParentCare Family Recovery Center addresses a range of issues, such as self-esteem, social and life skills, relationships, parenting skills, family planning and health care maintenance. It is a part of Vista Hill, which is a community-based organization that develops and maintains a range of services and programs for young people and families. The ParentCare Family Recovery Center is located in La Mesa, Calif.
