UCPCC was founded in 1954. Today, we serve more than 1,100 children and adults, along with their families, with a broad range of disabilities and special needs, including cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, autism, traumatic brain injuries, and other intellectual and developmental disabilities. aEUR<Central California which include Merced, Madera, Mariposa, Fresno, Kings, Kern, and Tulare counties. We recognize our students have a wide range of desires and needs, and we ensure everyone who walks through our doors has access to and opportunities for community engagement and life-enhancing programs. Arts & Agriculture in the Community students are increasing mobility, becoming advocates and increasing their social sphere. Center for the Arts & Technology goals include learning to use adaptive technology, growing food in our garden and selling works of art. Home Adaptive Program offers one-on-one exercise programs or educated integrated programs (either in the home or at the program site).

The Down Syndrome Association of Central California (DSACC) is a non-profit organization based in Fresno, CA, dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for individuals with Down syndrome and their families. Established in 1941, Malaga Elementary School is an educational institution that serves more than 200 students in kindergarten through grade five. The school offers classes in arts, math, English, science and social studies. It also organizes sessions in character education and arts and technology. Malaga Elementary School s preschool program serves children up to the age of five. The school provides English as a Second Language, special education and Title I programs.
