History
The Paper Doll Militia was founded in 2006 in Santa Fe, New Mexico, by a group of interdisciplinary artists with diverse performance backgrounds. This ensemble is characterized by highly skilled aerialists and acrobats who are dedicated to the foundations of theatre. We emphasize thoughtful character development, a full setting and context, as well as a narrative story with beginning, middle, and end. The Paper Dolls got their first delicious taste of circus working with Wise Fool, NM. The group created and produced a full-length, ensemble piece at the Wise Fool Studios entitled
