History

When I was a kid growing up in Montreal, Canada my love was animals. I spent my weekends saving up for my horse and later competing in rodeo, teaching at summer camps, and was even the first Jewish woman in the London Hunt. Years later, when I moved to Carlsbad, CA and was a single parent of two amazing young children, I was diagnosed with 3rd stage cancer in my lymph system and my whole life was turned upside down as I fought to survive. Against all odds, I made it through and I was struck by how fleeting life can be so I decided to go back to what made me so happy when I was young - my animals. I began riding and teaching again, my little farm grew, and I found the most joy in sharing my love of animals with others. I love brightening people's day by seeing people of all ages connect with their child selves by just enjoying the moment and experiencing the joy of animals.
