History

Beautifully textured and exquisitely tailored couture in the luxurious fabrics of cashmere, lace, brocade, chiffon and silk charmeuse marked Barish's first couture collection which met tremendous success. Armed with the support of Hollywood's elite including Cher, Roseanna Arquette, Angelica Huston and Meg Ryan, customers loved what set Barish apart from the rest-classic, sexy silhouettes for which the customer could request the finishing touches, whether it was jeweled buttons or print linings. The line was picked up by major stores and boutiques across the country including Barney's New York, Henri Bendel and Neiman Marcus. In 2004, the doors of the first Pamela Barish boutique swung open, introducing a premiere ready-to-wear line of luxe separates, coats, and dresses. Just blocks from the home she shares with her boyfriend, renowned California artist Laddie John Dill, the store's decor relays Barish's artistic design sensibility and flair for combining modern and classic touches.
