Palo Verde Hospital

Established in 1937, Palo Verde Hospital is a 20-plus-bed facility that spreads across an area of more than 1.5 acres. It is a nonprofit institution that provides a range of medical and health care services. The hospital is accredited by The Joint Commission and managed by the Palo Verde Health Care District. Palo Verde Hospital diagnoses and treats vision problems, including nearsightedness, astigmatism, macular degeneration, glaucoma and cataract. It provides CT scan, MRI, X-ray, ultrasound and mammography testing services. The hospital offers a variety of wellness programs that includes health fairs and nutrition educational and smoking cessation sessions. Palo Verde Hospital provides respiratory care solutions for patients with cardiopulmonary and breathing disorders. It also offers volume and aerosol therapies, as well as vascular and endoscopy services.
