HistoryAfter working as a fitness instructor growing up and then excessive hours as a nurse practitioner for many years after graduate school and ultimately reaching a point of being unhealthy and overweight, I realized that I had one chance to feel and live for my passion in life. I took that first step and overcame many obstacles after working with an amazing personal trainer who motivated me to remain dedicated and to set goals that I never imagined possible. I surpassed my goals and I now understand that helping people by incorporating health, fitness and nutrition into their lives is my true passion in life.SpecialtiesShreddedFox specializes in customized individual and small group training sessions with an emphasis on safe, effective personal training that allows clients to reach goals while remaining injury free. I am a nurse practitioner with 2 Master of Science degrees in nursing from Vanderbilt University, so my emphasis is on lifestyle modification, education on nutrition, exercise & stress reduction, as well as the application of a holistic approach to health. Barre3 is an efficient and effective workout that combines strength, cardio, and mindfulness, designed to teach people to be balanced in body and empowered from within. When you work out with us, you’ll move through low-impact isometric moves, large-range cardio bursts, and mind-centering breath work. Barre3 instructors will challenge you to find your edge while creating space for you to define what success looks like for you in every workout.
