Pacoima Wash Natural Park

Cindy Monta ez Natural Park, managed by the City of San Fernando in collaboration with the Mountains Recreation and Conservation Authority, spans 4.7 acres and features walking trails, picnic areas, and stunning views of the Angeles Forest. Designed in the local Spanish Mission style, the park showcases artistic elements alongside native plants, creating a serene environment for visitors to enjoy outdoor activities.

The park plays an important role in local water management, diverting and filtering stormwater runoff before channeling it into a streambed, which replenishes the San Fernando Groundwater Basin. This sustainable approach allows the park to manage up to 371,000 gallons of water, ultimately reducing the community's reliance on imported water sources.
