I don't know what's up with the barbers today. Seems like they're hell bent on giving out fade haircuts. I have nothing against the fade. I wore one for awhile. But now I wish to grow my hair out....

Be warned that you need to be very specific. Even if you show a very detailed picture they will not know what to do.
