History

Shintaikido was founded by Dave Bendegkeit in 1998 when he purchased Coast Karate Studio from now Senior Grandmaster Bob Maschmeier in Eureka Square. Shintaikido is a blended art primarily of Aikido, Kajukenbo, King Fu, Tai Chi and Chi Gung. Kaiso has the blessing of his respective teachers including Patricia Hendeicks-Sensei -Aikido, Senior Grandmaster Bob Maschmeier-Kajukenbo and Sifu Andy Ching (Sil Lum Fut Ga) and others, Kaiso formulated his knowledge in all of his practiced arts into Shintaikido, or
